Environair showcases its manufacturing expertise thanks to Max Jermy’s dedication to innovation and exceptional production standards. Founded by his father in 1987, the company has earned recognition throughout East Anglia for completing intricate ductwork projects tailored to precise requirements, serving clients ranging from military installations to universities. The guiding principles of quality, consistency, and efficiency shape every aspect of their operations, with many team members boasting over two decades at Environair. Under Max’s leadership, the firm continues to innovate by strategically investing in advanced technologies, consistently meeting their promise to deliver ductwork within five working days after drawing approval.

The support provided by North Norfolk District Council played a pivotal role in enabling the acquisition and installation of advanced equipment, which has considerably improved Environair’s operational processes and growth opportunities. The Council team proactively identified funding opportunities and provided comprehensive guidance throughout the application process, resulting in the successful procurement of two grants for equipment from Swiss manufacturer Spiro. Installed in December 2025, the new tube formers and laser cutters have substantially improved production efficiency and minimised material waste. Featuring a 25-year warranty, this equipment underscores a commitment to sustained excellence. Additionally, the increased precision has elevated ductwork efficiency, ensuring minimal air loss during ventilation and contributing to improved performance and reduced energy consumption. Notably, recent projects include the Apple office development in Cambridge.

Environair demonstrates a commitment to excellence that encompasses both high-quality production and environmental stewardship. The installation of a solar array at the Catfield facility, featuring over 1.5kW of battery storage, underscores the company’s focus on sustainable manufacturing practices. Further, plans to transition the vehicle fleet to electric models reinforce Environair’s dedication to environmental responsibility. Located at Ludham Road Business Park in Catfield, Environair serves as a key employer in the area. The company employs numerous local residents, which promotes community involvement and supports efforts to reduce carbon emissions. Through its advanced manufacturing capabilities, innovative sustainability initiatives, strong community relations, and collaborative partnership with the Council, Environair is well-positioned to drive business growth and deliver positive economic outcomes.

I wasn’t sure how to secure funding for this project, so I was delighted when the team at North Norfolk District Council assisted us in securing multiple funding sources to help pay for the new machines. This investment has already helped Environair secure a new customer.Max Jermy,
