We are inviting landowners, developers, agents and members of the public to put forward land that may be suitable for future development, also known as a 'Call for Sites'.

Submissions will be accepted between Monday 1 June 2026 and Monday 13 July 2026.

The Call for Sites is being carried out as part of early work to prepare a new Local Plan for North Norfolk. It provides an opportunity for individuals and organisations to suggest land that could be considered for a range of uses, including housing, employment, infrastructure, open space, community and other uses.

Privacy notice

Before completing your submission, please read our privacy statement, which explains how we will handle the information that you provide.

Before beginning your submission

  1. This 'Call for Sites' consultation will not determine whether a site should be allocated for development or be granted planning permission. All suggested sites will be further assessed as part of the Local Plan process.
  2. A separate Call for Sites response must be submitted for each parcel of land. Do not submit multiple land parcels as this will result in rejection. Your submission must cover the entire available site area, regardless of how the site may be used or divided.
  3. Do not submit sites which can accommodate fewer than 5 dwellings or are less than 0.25 hectares in size. Sites which do not meet this minimum threshold will not be assessed.
  4. Please make sure that the information disclosed is accurate, as the supplied information will be tested through the Local Plan Site Assessment process.
  5. You may save your progress and return to the form later if needed.
  6. If you have any questions or encounter issues completing the form, please email planning.policy@north-norfolk.gov.uk or call 01263 516224.
