Policy EN3 Undeveloped coast

In the undeveloped coast only development that can be demonstrated to require a coastal location and that will not be significantly detrimental to the open coastal character will be permitted.

Community facilities, commercial, business and residential development that is considered important to the wellbeing of the coastal community will be permitted where it replaces that which is threatened by coastal erosion.
