Council offers free parking to help people shop locally

North Norfolk District Council is once again encouraging residents to support the local economy in their towns and villages this year by considering independent or smaller local businesses when purchasing gifts or presents.

Our local towns have a diverse range of independent businesses which offer unique gifts and the chance to help local businesses, in addition to saving money on fuel and parking when travelling further afield.

To support our local towns, the Council is offering free parking in the following town centre car parks on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 December:

• The Limes

Holt

• Albert Street
• Station Yard

North Walsham

• Bank Loke
• Mundesley Road
• New Road
• Vicarage Street

Sheringham

• Morris Street

• The Chequers

Stalham

• High Street

Wells

• Staithe Street
• Stearmans Yard

When shopping locally, you can visit many different shops and time your visits for when places are less busy.
