Building upon the success of the Recruitment Fair and Job Fair last year, the Council is working with Cromer DWP to hold a Job Fair on Thursday, 2 March, at Cromer Parish Hall between 9:30am and 12:30pm.

This fair will be run in conjunction with businesses and service providers from across the district.

The Job Fair will be supported by a wide range of employers from around the district, who will showcase available job opportunities. There will also be a chance to learn about details of future recruitment campaigns and handy tips on how to make applications stand out and get noticed.

The Department for Work and Pensions will also be on hand to offer recruitment advice, work trials, work experience, apprenticeships and offer guidance related to disabilities or health conditions.

Dawn Morgan, Cromer Jobcentre Leader, said:

“This event showcases the opportunities of a wide mix of businesses to help people looking for work, including hospitality, administration, security, facilities management and care.

“We will also have information regarding apprenticeships, local provision and work coaches will also be on hand to tell people all about the support available from the Jobcentre to help them back to work. If you are looking for a job or a change, please come along to see what is on offer.”
