North Norfolk residents will receive their annual waste and recycling bin calendars for 2023/24 in mid March.

To be delivered by the bin crews, the calendar will detail bin collection dates from April 2023 to March 2024 and any changes because of bank holidays.

This calendar also contains information about what is accepted in the recycling bin.

You can now place your household batteries out for collection with your waste or recycling bin and they will be taken by Serco to be recycled. Place your used batteries in a small clear bag (freezer bag or similar size) on top of your green or black bin on your normal collection day.

Batteries must be left on top of the bin. If they are not separated, they will go into the body of the vehicle, where they risk being crushed, which can cause vehicle fires or potentially cause fires at the processing facility.

Please note there is no change to your normal collection day for waste and recycling.

You can find out your next bin collection day here - Bin collections : View collection days (north-norfolk.gov.uk)
