Battle of the Beaches Generic Social Graphic 2025 v1.png

Date published: 4th July 2025

This summer, Battle of the Beaches will return to North Norfolk District Council’s social media channels as we celebrate our fantastic and diverse coastline.

Since 2022, residents, visitors and businesses have joined in the coastal awareness campaign, which involves 16 North Norfolk beaches going head to head for votes, all hoping to be crowned the district’s favourite beach.

Battle of the Beaches is a fun promotional opportunity for audiences to celebrate their favourite beach, discover new places and for the Council to promote key summer themes such as beach safety, coastal transition and tourism.

The social media led campaign is also an opportunity for businesses and organisations to promote the vast and varied tourism offering along the coast, increasing exposure for other destinations along our coastline residents of visitors may not have visited.

West Runton were last years winners, retaining their crown from 2023 – who will you vote for this year?

Voting will take place on the Council’s Facebook and Instagram pages – the competition begins on Monday 7 July.
