Coastwise Café drop-in events are back in June

Date published: 23rd May 2025
North Norfolk District Council's Coastwise team, is building upon the 15 previous Coastwise Café events held since January 2024 by hosting another four drop-in events in June.
These face-to-face community drop-in sessions have taken place in various coastal communities around the district, with over 400 visitors so far. These events have shared updates about the project and enabled people to contribute their ideas and local knowledge.
Feedback from the cafés has helped Coastwise identify community concerns, helped plan place-based actions towards preparing for coastal change and provided a focus for future project activities.
From these café events, subgroups and committees in Trimingham, Weybourne, Overstrand and Happisburgh have formed to advance local initiatives to adapt to coastal erosion. During the events, you can find out more about these groups and how to join them.
The Coastwise Café events in June will provide progress updates about the project and there will be opportunities for feedback and input on location-based topics.
The drop-in events are open to everyone, come along and meet the tea, have a cup of team and see what Coastwise is working on.
