Important information about kerbside collection of batteries and small electrical items

Due to the significant fire at a recycling business in Thetford, we have temporarily paused kerbside collections of batteries and small electrical items.

This means we wont be able to pick up any small electronics left on top of your bin for the time being. All other waste collection services continue as normal, including our bulky waste service.

You should put your bins out as planned and they will be collected. We hope to reinstate the batteries and small electricals collections as soon as possible.

In the meantime, please do not put electricals or batteries in your household bin – this is a serious fire risk. If you can, store unwanted electrical items safely at home until services resume.
