Important information about kerbside collection of batteries and small electrical items

Due to the significant fire at a recycling business in Thetford, we have temporarily paused kerbside collections of batteries and small electrical items.

This means we wont be able to pick up any small electronics left on top of your bin for the time being. All other waste collection services continue as normal, including our bulky waste service.

You should put your bins out as planned and they will be collected. 

In the meantime, please store unwanted electrical items and batteries safely at home. Do not put electricals or batteries in your household bin as this is a serious fire risk. We hope to reinstate the batteries and small electricals collections as soon as possible once the backlog is resolved.
