Do you have a special story about Cromer Pier? We want to hear it!

As part of the Pier’s 125 anniversary celebrations, we are creating a collection of special memories.

It might be the time you went crabbing off the side, an unforgettable visit to the end of the pier show, or even a life-changing moment like getting engaged.

We’ve already heard some amazing stories like Susan Wilcox recounting how she was chosen from the audience in the Pavilion Theatre and sawn in half by a magician; and Stuart Harber recalling how the Pier itself was sliced in half during a violent storm.

If you would like to share your story of Cromer Pier and tell us how much it means to you, we’ll include it in our celebrations. And if you have photos or videos of the moment, we’d love to include those too.

Please send your story to mypierstory@north-norfolk.gov.uk

To inspire you, here’s national treasure and Cromer Pier alumnus Sir Stephen Fry’s memory message:
