Notice of intention to make urgent decisions
Special meeting of Cabinet - Tuesday 23 February 2021
I refer to the above-mentioned meeting and hereby give notice, in accordance with the regulations of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012, that Cabinet will consider two urgent decisions which will not be subject to the usual five day Call-In period.
- Agenda Item 5 - Property Acquisition - land at North Walsham
- Agenda Item 6 - Use of s106 Commuted Sums to support delivery of affordable homes in North Norfolk
The Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee has agreed that these are urgent decisions and that call-in will not apply for the following reasons:
It is not reasonably practicable, nor possible, to advertise the proposed decisions for the full 28 day period and also enable sufficient time for any possible call-in. This is because the decisions involve property transactions and there is a time-limit on the completion of the purchase.
