An Annual Monitoring Report is published each year which highlights if the Core Strategy policies are achieving their objectives.
Monitoring is an important part of the planning process and plays a critical part in identifying changing situations that may trigger a review of policies. We prepare Annual Monitoring Reports in order to assess the extent to which policy objectives are being achieved.
Annual Monitoring Reports published up until 2008 assessed former Local Plan policies and explained how we expected to meet the requirements for monitoring for future years. More recent reports assess policies contained in the Core Strategy (which replaced the North Norfolk Local Plan in September 2008).
Annual Monitoring Reports (AMRs) are based on the period 1 April to 31 March and are normally completed by December each year. It was not been possible to provide a report for 2010-11 in the normal timeframe and this was incorporated into a 2-year report for 2010-12.View the Annual Monitoring Report for 2016 to 2018
