The Annual Monitoring Report provides factual data to determine the extent to which the policies have achieved their objectives.

Monitoring is an important part of the planning process and plays a critical role in identifying changing situations that may trigger a review of Local Plan policies.

The latest report considers the performance of current Local Plan policies. However, this transition period bridges the Core Strategy monitoring to look forward to what is expected to be monitored in the New Local Plan 2016 to 2036.

Annual Monitoring Reports are based on the period 1 April to 31 March.
