Entry and Registration
When will the Mammoth Marathon 2020 take place?
The 2020 Mammoth Marathon will take place on Sunday 17th May 2020.
Start times and location
The Full Marathon starts at 9.30 am at Beach Road, Sea Palling, Norfolk, NR12 0AL.
The Half Marathon starts at 9.30 am at Beach Road, Mundesley, Norfolk, NR11 8BQ.

Closing date for online entries is Friday 31st January 2020.
Is there an age limit?
Minimum age to enter the Mammoth Marathon is 17 for the Half Marathon and 18 for the Full Marathon.
How many places are allocated for the Mammoth Marathon?
Entry limit is 600 places for the Half Marathon and 400 places for the Full Marathon.
How much does it cost to enter?
- Full marathon £36 UKA affiliated, £38 non-UKA affiliated.
- Half marathon £28 UKA affiliated, £30 non-UKA affiliated
UKA Affiliated entries must quote UKA URN on entry.
How much time is allowed to complete the marathon?
You must complete the Half Marathon within 3 hours and the Full Marathon in 6 hours (3 hours cut-off half-way).

Course Details
View the Course Map - both courses are point to point courses and are on country and town roads with some footpaths used. The finish at Sheringham High School is on a grass sports field for 190 metres.
TMO Highways have been instructed as traffic management professionals to manage the traffic throughout the race.
Headphones
No headphones, including bone conducting versions, are permitted to be used while running the marathon.
Race Presentations
Presentations will be held at the finish village at Sheringham High School at approx. 11.45 am for the Half Marathon and 1.30 pm for the Full Marathon.
There is no prize money, First, second and third places will get trophies. All runners will be presented with a Medal and a goody bag.
Parking
There will be some parking available at Clink Road Car Park, Sea Palling for the Full Marathon and at Gold Park, Car Park Mundesley for the Half Marathon.
Travel
Coach transfer will be available before the race from finish at Sheringham High School to both race start locations.
Amenities
Toilets will be provided at the start of both races and the finish.

Photography
Professional photographs will be taken throughout the race, with an option to purchase available after the event.
