NORTH NORFOLK ARMED FORCES

Champion for the Armed Forces at North Norfolk District Council is Councillor John Toye. For more information please contact armed.forces@north-norfolk.gov.uk or call 01263 516248.

Welcome to the Armed Forces pages for North Norfolk District Council

When I became a councillor and was asked to be the Armed Forces Champion I was honoured to have that privilege.

As a veteran of the Armed Forces having served 23 years from the age of 17 I know how different life can be for serving and veteran servicemen.

As a Council that has signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant it has pledged:

“to acknowledge and understand that those who serve and who have served in the armed forces and their families should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives"

So welcome, be proud of your past and when you have contact with the council let us know of your service past and present and we will help all we can.
