Business rates valuation account
Sign up for a business rates valuation account with the HMRC Valuation Office Agency
The Valuation Office Agency (VOA), which is part of HMRC and is responsible for the setting of all non-domestic rateable values, is running a campaign to encourage customers to use their digital services. This will allow customers to find out information about their business rates.
A business rates valuation account will allow you to:
- see how your rateable value has been calculated
- report changes that might affect your property's rateable value
- challenge your property's rateable value if you think it is wrong
- appoint an agent to deal with the VOA for you
A business rates valuation account is the best way to manage your business property information.
To register for an account, please visit the business rates valuation page on the gov.uk website.
You can contact the VOA at ratingeast@voa.gov.uk
