Elections will take place on 4 May 2017 to elect County Councillors and on 8 June 2017 to elect the North Norfolk MP

North Norfolk District Council is able to offer smaller 140 litre wheeled bins for both waste and recycling

If you live alone or there are only a few people in your household, you may think that the standard 240 litre bins are too big for your needs. North Norfolk District Council is able to offer smaller 140 litre wheeled bins for both waste and recycling.

If you do decide you would like to have smaller bins, please bear in mind that the same collection service applies as for those households with the 240 litre bins i.e. you will receive an alternate weekly collection of waste and recyclables and any additional waste left beside the grey bin will not be collected.

In support of minimising the amount of waste generated, North Norfolk District Council will exchange 240 litre bins for 140 litre bins free of charge. However, if you later find that the smaller bins are not sufficient for your needs, there will be a charge if you wish to revert to the larger bins.

Please contact us using the provided details if you are interested in using a smaller bin.
